Prevention Education

The Office of Respect serves as the central hub for sexual and interpersonal violence prevention programs, as well as efforts to create a more respectful and compassionate campus free of violence.

The Office of Respect utilizes the SocioEcological Model in strategically addressing sexual violence at Emory. Education and influence are seen, valued, and incorporated at the individual behaviors level all the way to the institutional policy influence and community culture influence levels. We align training with Emory compliance offices (such as the Department of Title IX) for clarity; however, we focus on aspirational behaviors and approaches that promote a culture of respect.
