Sexual Assault Prevention for Graduate Students
Sexual Assault Prevention for Graduate Students (SAP-G) is an interactive online learning platform designed to educate students on preventing and responding to interpersonal violence in the Emory community. Emory University is actively working towards a campus in which no student fears or experiences violence. SAP-G is only one part of Emory's comprehensive interpersonal violence prevention program. Through it, you will learn about preventing and responding to multiple forms of interpersonal violence, including sexual assault, harassment, relationship abuse, and stalking in the Emory community. It also includes essential Title IX and Clery Act information to support graduate students in their interactions with faculty, peers, and undergraduates—including how to respond to disclosures.
Every incoming graduate and professional student is required to complete SAP-G. The course consists of two parts with the second part being a short follow-up available six weeks after completion of the first part.
